CMF rectifies press release: M1 Specialty is not among the reported entities

Chile's Financial Market Commission clarified that the complaints filed with the Public Prosecutor's Office for alleged fraud refer to six credit providers

CHARLESTOWN, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Nov. 03, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- M1 Specialty, a group of companies regulated in various jurisdictions globally, informs the public that the Financial Market Commission of Chile (Comisión para el Mercado Financiero, CMF) rectified, on September 9, 2026, the headline of its press release dated January 24, 2023, currently titled “Comisión para el Mercado Financiero alerta sobre entidades no reguladas” (“Financial Market Commission warns about unregulated entities”).

With this rectification, the headline clarifies that the complaints filed with the Public Prosecutor’s Office (Ministerio Público) for alleged fraud refer to six credit providers, among which M1 Specialty is not included. The latter appears in said press release solely in the list of entities that offer investment services and are not supervised by the CMF.
